There are two forms of legalising your right to stay and live, work or frequently visit Spain. Namely a full residency document, a TIE / European residency certificate or through a VISA.

TIE Resident Identity Card are available to NON EU residents and are issued for 2,5 and 10 year periods. There are a number of ways to obtain them if you fit the criteria the most relevant to our clients being:

• Brexit TIE if a UK national can prove residence in Spain prior to 31/12/2020
• Student TIE fulfilling a 2 year physical course with economic means of sustainability.
• Student Visa: applied for outside of Spain or within 90 days of arrival for physical courses of less than one year and renewable or convertible into a student TIE.
• ‘Arraigo’ through proof of living permanently in Spain for 3 years, albeit without proper documentation and showing integration into Spanish culture.
• Spouse or long term partner( pareja de hecho) of an EU resident in Spain
• Non-Lucrative Visa: applied for outside of Spain with evidence of sufficient funds or wealth ( approx 27,000 euros) per applicant, it is a one year multi entrance visa renewable or convertible into a non-lucrative TIE.

Economic Visa very much depends on the region of application and the qualifications of the applicant as all applications are assessed for the possibility of a vacancy being fulfilled by a local person.
